Erica, newly graduated from college, moves from the suburbs to Dallas, Texas where she finds men and job opportunities easily available. Each day at work seems to hold new adventures and challenges for her as her co-workers add their own influence in shaping Erica’s adult life. Erica’s social scene ends up rather eclectic as her morals are defined, emotions piqued, and friendships developed.
With this move, a much yearned for independence is now fighting against a newly acquired desire to experience the familiar once again. With each decision she makes, she discovers more about herself and begins designing a life for herself. Dressed in Fine Linen is the story of one year in the life of Erica Webb. It’s a story about Erica’s struggle to make decisions and live with herself in light of the faith and traditions her parents have imparted. Her journey transforms her from desiring independence to recognizing a true dependence on the Living God, her Creator.
